Share links
A share link lets someone outside the band hear a recording or song, or see a setlist, without an account.
Making a link
On a recording or song, choose Share, then Create Share Link. Pick what the link allows:
| Option | What the other person gets |
|---|---|
| View only | The details, without the audio |
| Listen & comment | The audio, plus the band's notes (the default) |
| Allow download | The audio and a download button |
Then choose when it expires: 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or never. Choose Create Link.
You can copy the link, email it from Band Jams with a short message, or open it to check it. Setlists have a Share option too.
What the other person sees
The link opens a page with the title, who shared it and a player. Song links also show the key, tempo, chords and lyrics if you've added them. They don't need an account to listen.
Keeping track
Each link shows how many times it has been opened and when it expires. The Shares page in your band's sidebar lists every link, with views and downloads. Delete a link to stop it working straight away. Deleted links can be restored from Trash.
