Activities are automatically logged whenever something meaningful happens in your band. This creates a timeline of events that helps everyone stay in the loop, even if they weren't online when something happened.

Band Jams tracks 15 different types of activities. Here's the complete reference.

Recording Uploaded | A new audio recording was added to the band |
Recording Deleted | An audio recording was removed from the band |
Catalog Created | A new catalog item was created |
Catalog Updated | A catalog item was modified |
Comment Added | Someone commented on a recording |
Comment Reply | Someone replied to a comment |
Comment Liked | A comment received a like |
Marker Added | A waveform marker was placed on a recording |
Member Joined | A new member joined the band |
Idea Created | A new idea was submitted |
Idea Deleted | An idea was removed |
Event Created | A calendar event was scheduled |
Event Deleted | A calendar event was removed |
Setlist Created | A new setlist was created |
Message Sent | A chat message was sent |
Note: Reply messages in chat and comment replies on recordings don't generate separate activity entries to reduce noise. Only root-level messages and comments are logged.
Waveform Markers
When viewing a recording, you can place markers directly on the waveform at specific timestamps. Each marker type has a specific purpose.
Idea
Mark creative suggestions, new arrangement ideas, or potential changes to explore.
Issue
Flag problems that need attention - timing issues, wrong notes, audio glitches.
Highlight
Mark great moments worth keeping - killer riffs, perfect takes, standout performances.
Section
Denote song structure - intro, verse, chorus, bridge, outro, solo sections.
Comment
General feedback that doesn't fit other categories - observations, questions, notes.
Notifications
The notification bell in the header shows a count of recent activities. Click it to see a quick summary without leaving your current page.
